Bibi settled in Japan in 1997 after meeting a publisher who encouraged her to pursue her artistic talents here in Tokyo as a children's book illustrator/writer. Whilst working as a freelance artist, one of the pre-schools approached her to run their after school program. Utilising her creativity and unique talents she ended up persuing her teaching career working at several Internatinal Schools whilst also creating children's stories and pictures. Bibi, a certified primary trained teacher with many years of pre-school teaching experiences behind her, continues to teach the young. She inspires not only children but also enthusiastic parents who are encouraged and happy about her sharing her love for children and creative talents with vesatility. Bibi continues work full time at a pre-school teacher here in Tokyo. She is also known for teaching after school yoga classes to children at International Schools.
Yoga which started out as a hobby in the UK many years ago, has become an integral part on her continually developing life path. It plays a role both in Bibi's development as a teacher and artist, as well as her deeply personal journey in this continually changing, challenging, and often competitive world. In 2003 Bibi completed a 200 hour yoga teacher training course at 'The White Lotus Foundation' in the US. She teaches yoga to children (at schools) and adults who requested her lessons.
Artistically, she continues her creative endevours and exhibits her work in and around Tokyo.
